We're Cheatin' Performed by the Cheater BBQ Blues Men

On a sunny July Fourth in Carolina, Rhode Island, the Smithers Family Media, Music, and Public Relations team of Redding, CT, rolled into the Village to jump on their Next Big Project. Mindy and R.B. had laid down a demo of their soon-to-be-a-hit single, “We’re Cheating,” at Wayne Avers Studios in Nashville, TN. The Smithers Men were ready to take it to video.
How lucky can you get? We had Bob, the senior Smithers, who served as our General Organizer and team leader, Drew Smithers, our deep river blues slide man, and Cooper Smithers (aka Dr. Geshundtight), our energetic video director/IT guy/Renaissance Man.
And then there was the ever-smiling Ralphie, of course, lover of bacon and sausage and always game for a capsized canoe trip up the Pawcatuck River.
The rest is history.
Get tips for making perfect skillet cornbread. It's the only bread to serve with summer fresh vegetable suppers.
